RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish authentic relationships with our teenagers and their families.
• Plan weekly Youth Group meetings with the Director.
• Co-lead youth ministry events & programs including confirmation, youth groups, & summer Bible study.
• Develop & lead Sr High Sunday School.
• Assist with the organization & direction of the Love Thy Neighbor homeless ministry.
• Assist with older elementary Vacation Bible School in partnership with our children’s ministry.
• Lead events when the Director of Youth Ministries is away.
• Manage the youth database, manage weekly communications and social media platforms, & oversee booking & registrations for events.
• Responsibility for assuring that youth events are added & listed correctly on the church calendar.
• Drive church vehicles for youth ministry events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a staff or volunteer role in a successful youth ministry or educational setting.
• Undergraduate degree required.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software to assist with programming.
• Have a heart for outreach and mission work.
• Primary gifts of administration, discernment and encouragement are necessary.
