Job Description
We are recruiting for an Administrator for Congregations & Transitions for the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, known as the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT). Reporting to the Canon for Congregations & Transitions, this position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support, including management of the Canon’s complex calendar, drafting and proofreading professional correspondence, and coordination of meetings and events. This position also will provide administrative support for the Director of Congregational Development & Networking and others as needed. Duties include scheduling and attending meetings for the Congregations & Transitions team, updating the general ECCT calendar with the Canon’s events, notifying appropriate persons within ECCT when the Canon is unavailable, making travel arrangements for the Canon and Director, and managing invoices, credit card receipts, check requests, and expense reports. In addition, the Administrator will serve as the parish/clergy liaison and data manager for the Office of Transition Ministry. Responsibilities include creating, posting, and updating parish portfolios; attending meetings regarding parish and clergy transitions; managing all Transition files; and maintaining clergy files and the clergy supply list.
