 “Come away by yourselves and rest awhile.” (Mark 6:31) Lay and ordained people from across the African diaspora are invited to come together for prayer, rest, walks, and the sharing of stories. We will use the book Psalms for Black Lives: Reflections for the Work of Liberation, by the Rev. Drs. Gabby Cudjoe Wilkes and Andrew Wilkes, for reflection, conversation and faith sharing. Come away and rest; then leave energized to love and serve the Lord.
