Event Details
The Office of Black Ministries (OBM) seeks to inspire, transform and empower people of the African Diaspora to live fully into the Jesus Movement. Recognizing the unique needs of the convocations within the Diaspora, OBM has committed to individual gatherings to address the specific interest and desires of each convocation and to promote further fellowship across the Episcopal church.

The OBM will be hosting its Haitian Clergy and Laity Convocation Gathering on May 11 – May 12, 2021 as a virtual online experience as well as in person gatherings throughout Haiti. The conference theme is “United in Christ For A Successful Ministry”.

The days will begin and end with prayers, reflection and music drawn from the Haitian tradition. Plenaries will include keynote presentations to address the leadership development needs of the community. We are expecting clergy participants on Day 1 of the conference with lay leaders joining on Day 2.
