Episcopal Youth & Friends: Reconnect at Kanuga’s Winterlight 46!

An inspiring, fun, spirit-filled conference reconnecting you with each other, nature, and the Creator… at Kanuga!

It’s time to re-explore what it means to be in community as one body, in person and face to face.

Winterlight is a celebrated Kanuga tradition open to high school students in grades 9-12.

As part of Kanuga Empowered Youth (KEY), Winterlight brings in the new year for teens from all dioceses nationwide. Meet new friends and hang out with old ones, sing, dance, and ring in the New Year together. Participants explore their thoughts and beliefs in an inclusive fellowship that embodies the vibrancy of The Episcopal Church.

Health & Safety Protocols: We are thrilled to gather for Winterlight again in-person, and are committed to doing so safely. Please note that Winterlight attendees—youth and staff—must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be asked to submit verification. Kanuga requires all people over the age of two to wear a mask when indoors. Expect to wear a mask indoors when not eating and sleeping (We will work to use as much outdoor space as possible.).
