Birds play an inspiring role in God’s creation: a dove carrying an olive branch signaled the end of the Genesis flood. In Psalm 104, birds “sing among the branches.” In Matthew 6:26, Jesus encourages us to “look at the birds of the air.” During this retreat, learn firsthand how birding can enrich our spiritual lives as we spend a spring weekend contemplating the gifts of God’s creation and bird-watching in the Trinity Forest.
