|Many Episcopalians have been holding the Christians of the Holy Land in prayer during the pandemic. This pilgrimage offers a chance to reconnect with the people and institutions beloved of many former pilgrims. Offering an unusual itinerary that includes the chance of some extended times of prayer and reflection, visits to some lesser known sites, and the opportunity of seeing the remarkable work of several Episcopal charities, this pilgrimage is a wonderful way to revisit Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Galilee.
Led by the Right Rev. Greg Rickel (Bishop of Olympia and Chair of the trustees of the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem) and the Very Rev. Dominic Barrington (Dean of St James Cathedral, Chicago), this pilgrimage offers a unique set of Holy Land experiences, fashioned around the parables of Jesus recorded in Luke’s gospel.
