Are you passionate about global mission? Do you want to get involved in mission but don’t know where to start? Are you an experienced mission leader, but want to take your global mission engagement to the next level? This is your conference!

The Global Episcopal Mission Network will hold its 2019 Global Mission Conference on April 3-5 in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. In partnership with the Diocese of the Dominican Republic, the theme, “Sharing Jesus: Mutual Witness in Global Mission”, focuses on sharing our witness to Christ across cultures, engaging in healthy mission, mission best-practices, and spiritual formation for mission.

The conference will emphasize the role of cross-cultural witness and evangelism in global mission, both spiritually and practically. Keynote speakers will focus on mutuality in cross-cultural witness and creating connections as they reflect on God’s call to mission.

• Attend keynotes by the Rt. Rev. Griselda Delgado, Bishop of Cuba and the Rev. Canon Stephanie Spellers, Canon for Evangelism, Reconciliation and Stewardship of Creation; a talk by the Rev. David Copley, Dir. of Global Partnerships and Mission Personnel. Panelists include the Rt. Rev. William Skilton, former missionary in the Dominican Republic and retired suffragan bishop of South Carolina, and the Rev. Canon Anthony Guillen, Dir. of Ethnic Ministries for the Episcopal Church.
• Participate in mission workshops that will give you practical tools to bring back to your diocese, congregation or mission organization, including healthy short-term mission trips, leadership and fundraising, applying Asset-Based Community Development tools in your ministry, developing and maintaining mission relationships, discerning a call as a missionary, mission spiritual formation, and mission best practices.
