Indeed we American Episcopalians wish that our PSB Michael Curry could expand his horizon to be more inclusive beyond the U.S. borders–yes his “Jesus Movement/evangelical/revivalism” focuses on the U.S. some may say that is sorely needed in our national church… yet devastation and destruction continues in The Holy Land, Diocese of Jerusalem… and hence one wonders if that is on the agenda…

Erna Lund, expanding on your hopeful comment: if PB Curry’s sincere attempts to ‘revive’ a national church in need of that bear fruit, directing us towards love, and away from selfishness, then it will be easier to direct any expanded resources through church growth – either in membership and/or commitment to help outside of our borders – to other Anglican Provinces with far less, putting it frankly, money, than we have here in the US. There’s an old song by Donovan titled, ‘Happiness Runs In A Circular Motion.’ Like, I imagine, a snowball.
