Anglicans join 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence

[Anglican Communion News Service] After weeks of preparation, Anglicans around the Communion are getting involved in prayer, reflection and action for the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence. The 16 Days of Activism campaign runs from Nov. 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs to Human Rights Day on Dec. 10. The annual campaign sprang from the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute in 1991.
