Scenes from the UN Women event “Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality” held at the Manhattan Centre in New York City 10 March, 2015.

The celebratory event is held in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the World Conference on Women in Beijing and features musical performances, high-powered speakers and celebrities. ‘Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality is the clarion call of the event which takes the audience through a twenty year journey of women’s rights, and a look at the road ahead.
