Wonderful news. This marks simply the latest chapter in a success story extending over the past eight years or so. Congratulations to Jim and to this sturdy little congregation that has stood firm as a continuing ministry of the Episcopal Church. Starting as a tiny “house church,” St. Mark’s has grown and thrived in the midst of a hostile jurisdiction with dedicated lay leadership and the support of a number of retired clergy. Their experience proves that, in God’s plan, it’s PEOPLE OF FAITH rather than buildings and budget that truly matter.
