The Episcopal Church’s Joint Standing Committee on Program, Budget and Finance on July 10 proposed a budget for the mission and ministry of the church in the 2013-2015 triennium to a joint session of the General Convention’s House of Bishops and House of Deputies. The budget now requires the concurrence of both houses. The budget, including any amendments to which the two houses must agree, goes into effect Jan. 1. Complete ENS coverage with follow.
